A stateless firewall, also known as a "simple" or " basic" firewall, does not keep track of conversations between devices. It only filters incoming traffic based on predetermined security rules (e.g., IP addresses, ports), without considering the context of existing connections. Stateless firewalls are simpler and less effective than stateful firewalls but still provide some level of network protection.
